I'm the founder and CEO of PrōKo Consulting, which represents professional independent consultants on projects with Fortune 500 clients. PrōKo's business model is similar to how Creative Artists Agency represents top actors in Hollywood.
In building the business during the last nine years, I've interviewed scores of consultants. For those my company selects to represent, I coach them on personal branding, promotion, and positioning. I also often advise people on the pros and cons of becoming a “free agent” or self-employed, a step I successfully took about 15 years ago.
Before creating PrōKo, I was a consultant for 20 years, including 5 years with PwC Consulting and 15 years serving Fortune 500 clients such as Intuit, Clorox, Levi Strauss, NetApp, and Franklin Templeton Investments.
I have an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California and live in San Francisco. When not working I enjoy traveling, skiing, golfing, flying, and riding my Ducati motorcycle.
